Petra Segreta Resort & Spa, San Pantaleo

I recently spent 9 nights at this lovely resort, and while I adored the serene atmosphere and stunning views, there were some letdowns regarding dining and the challenging access. I absolutely loved the attentive service from the staff, especially Barbara, who really made our stay special. However, the restaurant's food was underwhelming and overpriced, and be prepared for a precarious drive to get there.

Petra Segreta Resort & Spa is a beautiful secluded getaway with stunning views of the La Maddalena Archipelago. The accommodations are spacious and well-appointed, although the shower had a persistent smell that wasn't ideal for a luxury property. Service from the staff was exceptional, especially from Barbara, who truly went above and beyond to assist us. However, getting there can be tricky, and I recommend renting a car as the remote location requires some careful navigation on narrow roads.
